Mentoring; Pentecostal Christian Church

Our Reverend Kirk Ferrell is a Deacon and a retired Army 1st Sgt, he spent over 20 years serving our country. He has a Bachelor’s degree Psycology and is completing his last class for a Master in Crimal Justice.

Kirk is a volunteer Mentor with a Juvenile Corrections Facility, under the Chaplains program. Kirk mentors the youth that are incarcerated, he is able to minister the Word of God to them. He gives them his personal testimony about how the Lord has changed his life. He able share the Word of God with them and show them how the Lord love them and will always be with them. Many of their lives have been change by the power of God's Word, as they invite Jesus into their lives.

Kirk says that speaking with these young men and women has been a rewarding experience. Many are hungry for the true Word of God, and really want to turn their lives around. Kirk says that some of the youth in there has really shown him what real faith is all about.
